Thirty-five years after the groundbreaking original Broadway production, this UK and West End premiere of the sensational and iconic Tony Award®-winning musical DREAMGIRLS is now in previews at the Savoy Theatre, London. This much-anticipated new production is directed and choreographed by the hugely successful, Tony and Olivier award-winning Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin, Something Rotten!) and Amber Riley (Glee) plays ‘Effie White’.
Natasha is young, Anatole is hot, and Andrey isn't here… But what about Pierre? Based on a scandalous 70-page slice of War and Peace, this new musical is Tolstoy like you've never experienced him before. Step into a glamorous, romantic world of chandeliers, vodka and caviar in the salons and opera houses of 19th century Moscow, where passions ignite as Napoleon's war rages outside the city. With the cast and musicians swirling among audience members, this new musical brings to life the heart of literature's most epic tale of love and fate.
Tony and Grammy Award-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda wields his pen and takes the stage as the unlikely founding father determined to make his mark on a new nation as hungry and ambitious as he. From bastard orphan to Washington's right hand man, loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal to Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy, HAMILTON is an exploration of a political mastermind. Thomas Kail directs and Andy Blankenbuehler choreographs this new musical about taking your shot, speaking your mind, and turning the world upside down.

LUCKY GUY

Two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks will make his much anticipated Broadway debut in the world premiere of three-time Academy Award nominee Nora Ephron’s play LUCKY GUY.

ARCADIA

Tom Stoppard's time-warping comedy ARCADIA is back on Broadway. Tony winner Billy Crudup returns to the Stoppard classic.

A unique and imaginative theatre piece which, in the words of the author, "needs no theatre, no lengthy rehearsal, no special set, no memorization of lines, and no commitment from its two actors beyond the night of performance." The piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down. Stars include Brian Dennehy, Mia Farrow, Carol Burnett, Alan Alda, and Candice Bergen.
Lucky Guy marks a return to Ephron’s journalistic roots in a new play about the scandal- and graffiti-ridden New York of the 1980s, as told through the story of the charismatic and controversial tabloid columnist Mike McAlary. From his sensational reporting of New York police corruption to the libel suit that nearly ended his career, the play dramatizes the story of McAlary’s meteoric rise, fall, and rise again, ending with his coverage of the Abner Louima case for which he won the Pulitzer Prize shortly before his untimely death on Christmas Day, 1998.
Arcadia is set in April 1809 in a stately home in Derbyshire. Thomasina, a gifted pupil, proposes a startling theory, beyond her comprehension. All around her, the adults, including her tutor Septimus, are preoccupied with secret desires, illicit passions and professional rivalries. Two hundred years later, academic adversaries Hannah and Bernard (Lia Williams and Billy Crudup) are piecing together puzzling clues, curiously recalling those events of 1809, in their quest for an increasingly elusive truth.

Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his gang rent rooms in the lopsided house of sweet but strict Mrs. Wilberforce. The villains plot to involve her unwittingly in Marcus’ brilliantly conceived heist job. The police are left stumped but Mrs. Wilberforce becomes wise to their ruse and Marcus concludes that there is only one way to keep the old lady quiet. With only her parrot, General Gordon, to help her, Mrs. W is alone with 5 desperate men. But who will be forced to face the music? THE LADYKILLERS comes to the stage in a thrilling new adaption by Graham Linehan and directed by Sean Foley.
The Sunshine Boys looks back at the life of two vaudeville stars, comedy kings Willie Clark and Al Lewis. Once a fantastic duo, the two have since been locked in a feud for years but are back on TV for a one-off show to remember the old days, which apparently weren’t as sunny as we might think. Directed by the Olivier Award winning Thea Sharrock, the woman behind National Theatre’s stunning production of After the Dance, The Sunshine Boys is a very warm-hearted comedy full of pathos, bitterness and of course, a hilariously vintage vaudeville routine.

Tom Stoppard's Arcadia was a Laurence Olivier Award-winning hit when it premiered at the National Theatre, subsequently transferring to the West End and Broadway. Now, the playwright's son Ed Stoppard appears in a new production of Arcadia, with Neil Pearson, Samantha Bond and Dan Stevens.

Arcadia begins in April 1809 in a stately home in Derbyshire. Thomasina, a gifted pupil, proposes a startling theory, beyond her comprehension. All around her, the adults are preoccupied with secret desires, illicit passions and professional rivalries. When a schoolgirl's whisper spreads it triggers a chain of events with extraordinary consequences.
